Pete asked me if Anni & I could put James up for the night. We did in Crumpsall, James came back with us, he spoke little all eve but this seemed entirely OK, he demanded NOTHING other than a place to sleep, a very peaceful guy. I always remember he had a lot of badges inc a Sgt Pepper's badge on his Jacket, weird what you remember. In the morn we all left to meet Roy & Pete who were in the Midland Hotel. Later on when Roy was in St Thomas Hospital, he played me a rough cassette of the Lord's Prayer which James so beautifully inspired. Lovely Zen guy!
