Shipping & Delivery

All orders are shipped via regular airmail from Ireland.

Most orders are processed and shipped within 2-3 business days. During new releases, tours, and other busy office times this processing time could possibly be a week or more. If you need your order to be shipped right way (for a gift perhaps) please email customer service and I'll do my best to get it into the post same day or warn of delay.

'Shipped' is the day that your order is delivered to the post office. After that I'm afraid it's in the hands of the postman as below.

Airmail delivery from Ireland to:

Britain 3-5 days
Europe 3-5 days
Eastern Block 5-7 days
USA/Canada 5-7 days
Rest of World 7-10 days

These estimated delivery times are just approximates as given by the Letter Post Customer Services.

Returns & Replacements

You may return "new and unused" merchandise within 30 days of ship date as stated in our Returns section for a full refund of the purchase price, minus the shipping, handling. "New and unused" means that the plastic shrink wrapping has not been removed from cds. A few of our products are not shrink wrapped. In this case "new and unused" means that there are no scratches, marks, or blemishes on the item.

We cannot accept a return of any item with any indication that it has been used. If you have questions regarding returning an item for refund or exchange please contact customer service.

Tickets are non-refundable.

For returning an item to Science Friction Ltd.:

Download File Format Information & Extraction Instructions

We offer downloads in two quality levels: CD Quality FLAC (16 bit 44.1kHz) and MP3 (256 kbps)

Which file type is right for you?

FLAC -  FLAC files require a special player. If CD sound quality is what you want then this file is best for you. FLAC stands for Free Lossless Audio Codec, an uncompressed audio format. FLAC files provide a perfect digital copy of the music without any loss in quality. A FLAC audio file is much larger in size than an MP3 file so will take longer to download. For more information on FLAC format and the various players available please visit the FLAC website.

MP3 - Our MP3s are encoded without DRM using the LAME encoder at a constant bitrate of 256 kbps. If the download speed of your internet connection is a concern, or if you have dial up, then this file is best for you. This file type should work with all computer types and has widespread playback support. The download files are compressed into a Zip file. Most systems now include decompression software that will automatically unzip your download. if you don't have decompression software you can download Stuffit Expander for free for Windows and Mac OS.
